To Kill A Vampire Receives First Review

The Romance Reviews

To Kill A Vampire, which was recently released by Wild Rose Press December 17th, has received an excellent first review. J.M. Schuler recently posted a review on paranormalromance.org. The review can be found below.

“What would you give for the one you love?”

Before starting this book I was expecting a typical woman meets Vamp, falls in love and off they go into the sunset, not literally that could lead to some crispy Vampires, but I was wrong. This is a gut wrenching story of how much would you give for the person you love. Could you take their soul or save it if it meant saving them? Erik is tall, dark and deadly but with one breath Angelica knows he is hers. While he fights for the future, she is fighting with the demons of her past. This story had me hooked within a few pages, the gut wrenching emotion makes you want to cry for them both and then beat them both.

There are several disturbing portions to the story but they add a feeling of well, humanity to both Erik and Angelica. The twists and turns this book takes made me take my Kindle everywhere for a couple of days and left me guessing to the very last page. The only gripe I had with the story was the jumping around in time. I wish it had been made clear when they were as the past and present intertwined throughout the book. This was not a major issue as each time set has its own set of characters that quickly allow you to see when they are in time.
